O cat, you make my life complete,
You make my heart sing with glee.
I cannot live without thee.
O cat, I love thee,
You are a precious loving creature,
With a hunter's personality.
You are flexible and lovable,
Your eyes are a beautiful yellow colour.
You make me wonder how you ever came to be,
Came to be so wonderful,
You are mischievous and cunning.

Where will you go my spiky wee friend when the cold wind blows?
What will you eat?
Where will you sleep?
When the ground is white with snow?

Roll up tight and say goodnight
dream the cold away,
Wait till spring ,
in a prickly ball ,
for a warm and sunny day.
